The Porolis inter-disciplinary Team comprises of gemmologists, AI engineers, optics engineers, colour scientists and IOT product designers who have come together with the sole pursuit to transform and disrupt the gemstone industry. With our pioneering spirit and inventive capabilities, the Team seeks to build AI-tools that can augment the tasks of gemmologist and democratize the skills to assess gemstones to every industry stakeholder.

At Porolis AI Research Lab (PaiR), our dynamic team are immersed in a stimulating environment of design thinking and experimentation to invent cutting-edge solutions, comprising of a photomicrographic optical analyser connected to an AI-powered cloud-based application. We recognise that we can achieve more through deep collaboration with leading research institutes as well as technologically advanced vendors across the supply-chain.
